How to Play
Playing Minigame Mayhem is easy, but the world is very large and there's a lot to discover.
Firstly, each Minigame costs coins to play. You get your first 10 coins by talking to Toadsworth as you enter the park. After that, earning coins is up to your own skill and time. Prices range
from free, to anywhere up to 20 or more coins, depending on the skill level of the game and the possible amount you can win from that game. Get good enough and earning coins should be no problem at all!
To play a Minigame, find a minigame stall (indicated by a pair of feet on the ground) and talk to the stall owner. They will give you a brief rundown of the game you're about to play, as well as the price
and possible earnings. You can only play the game if you have enough coins.
After you have earned coins, you will want to save your game. Doing this is a simple matter of visiting the Bank and depositing your earnings, ready to withdraw the next time you want to play.
The Overworld
The Overworld is where all the minigames are located. This map gives a basic idea of the size of the world that you will be exploring. Finding Minigames is a matter of exploring the Overworld and locating
various stalls that have been set up.
In addition to these stalls, there are also buildings that you can enter:
The Arcade: This is where you will find some retro Arcade games, as well as other Minigames such as Roulette and Slot Machines, Air Hockey and others.
The Ghost House: This is home to some spooky minigames set around a ghostly theme, such as Boo's Attic, Spotlight Fright and Glurp Grab
The Card Pavilion: Various card based games are found here, including Card Battles with Bowser, Luigi and others and Rock Paper Scissors.
In addition to that, there are many other areas of the park to explore and people to talk to, so have fun just walking around and talking to the friendly citizens of Mario Land!
Minigames
There are over 80 Minigames to find and play in Mario Land: Minigame Mayhem. These range from platforming challenges, skill based top-down games, puzzles, arcade games and so much more. Here's a few examples of minigames that you can find in the park.
Fireball Frenzy: Dodge bouncing fireballs from both sides for as long as possible. The longer you last, the more coins you earn.
Matchmaker: Match up pairs of tiles before the time runs out, the quicker you do it, the more coins you earn.
Minecart Mayhem: Survive as long as possible, switching rails to avoid the bomb carts that are out to get you.
Yoshi Shuffle: 7 different coloured Yoshi's will skitter behind the poles. Pay close attention and try find the chosen Yoshi.
Trivia Time: Psycho Kamek hosts a trivia competition, with 5-question rounds and over 40 Mario-based questions.
Mushroom Roulette: Take turns choosing blank Mushrooms until one of you finds the poison mushroom!
These are just some of the games you can find around the park. There are over 80 games to find and play!
Achievements
Achievements are an optional but enjoyable part of Minigame Mayhem. They can be earned in a variety of ways, but the most common way to earn an achievement
is to complete a certain task in a Minigame. Almost all Minigames in the park have some form of achievement attached to them. There are also achievements for other tasks
to be earned, such as earning a certain amount of money from Minigames, or purchasing all the Outfits.
Online High Scores
Many of the Minigames in the park offer Online High Scores. This means that if you happen to perform particularly well in a game, you may enter your name and it will appear in an online
high score list! The top three are ranked with Gold, Silver and Bronze coins. Competing for high scores is a great way to keep coming back and trying harder.
Only the top 10 scores are displayed, and these can be checked any time in the menu if you want to see the score you need to beat.

Unlockable Content
Unlockable content is an optional part of the game, but something enjoyable all the same. At the moment, this comes in the form of purchasable outfits that change your look both on the Overworld,
and in all the Minigames! There are 11 purchasable outfits to choose from, each with a varied design.
The final game will also have an unlockable Minigame once you have completed all the other games, as well as other purchasable items.
